In summer 2014, I travelled in Latin America, undertaking research for a book I'm planning. My first stop was Buenos Aires where I interviewed the actor Ignacio Huang(黃勝煌). Huang was born in Taipei but emigrated to Argentina as a child. He became a big star in Latin America thanks to his role in the movie Un Cuento Chino, called Chinese Takeaway in English. Between 2013 and early 2014, I wrote a series of four ESL reading comprehension books for Cengage Learning, a major international publisher in the field of education. This was a huge project and involved a lot of time and hard work.

The books were written to comply with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This is Book 1 of the series.
